GREENVILLE — KAUFMAN — A Dallas man, arrested during the summer of 2010 in connection with a series of burglaries in Hunt and Kaufman counties, has been sentenced to a lengthy term in prison.
Timothy M. Box, was sentenced Tuesday to 99 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division, according to Kaufman County Sheriff David Byrnes.
“Burglary can have a very serious impact on victims, and this sends a clear message to criminals, we will not tolerate such behavior in Kaufman County,” Byrnes said.
Box, 44, was found guilty by a jury, who reached the verdict in less than an hour, and was sentenced by District Judge Michael B. Chitty.
