Cleveland case a lesson on sex, law and responsibility

When 27-year-old Marcus Porchia made a recent court appearance, he had more to worry about than being one of 20 suspects accused in the highly publicized gang rape of an 11-year-old Cleveland girl.

Porchia was in court for a status report on the rape charge from nearly a year ago. But he also was daunted by paternity testing, completed in June, that found he had fathered a baby with a 13-year-old girl - leading to a second charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Plus, he had been recently summoned for a paternity test that declared him the father of yet another child with a 17-year-old girl in San Jacinto County.

At the same time, another defendant in the gang rape case, 22-year-old Kelvin King, is facing a second charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. He is accused of showing up at a girl's slumber party in Cleveland and forcing himself on a 14-year-old in 2009.
