Fort Worth drug dealer 'retired' by 99-year sentence

Call it the drug-dealer retirement plan.
Andrea Robles, 32, who dealt methamphetamine and cocaine from her home in Fort Worth, was sentenced to 99 years in prison Thursday by a Tarrant County jury.
"This defendant has spent the last few years running a drug business," Assistant District Attorney Sarah Bruner said in a statement. "We asked the jury to send her to prison long enough so that if she was ever released, she would be retired. The jury made sure that happened."
Jurors in state District Judge Sharen Wilson's court convicted Robles on Wednesday of possession of more than 400 grams of methamphetamine and up to 200 grams of cocaine, with intent to distribute.
