A man from El Salvador with a lengthy criminal record Wednesday was sentenced to 60 years in prison for the aggravated robbery of a McKinney convenience store.
Jose Ruben Alvarenga, 36, of Corrunchas, El Salvador, was found guilty and sentenced by a jury, which also imposed a $10,000 fine.
