BELTON — The third defendant in the 2010 killing at a Killeen mini-golf course pleaded guilty Tuesday to first-degree felony murder.
Jose Luis Veiga, 20, submitted a written confession stating he was the driver who brought the two other confessed killers of 19-year-old Jaytuan Lee Hawthorne to the recreational business' parking lot. In the June 2010 murder, the trio intended to steal drugs and money from Hawthorne at gunpoint.
