Tylerite Gets 33 Years For Murder

A young woman sat in the Smith County 7th District Court on Tuesday afternoon and waited for the jury to decide on a verdict for her brother, who recently was convicted of murder.
"I pray for the best for everyone affected by this situation," Antwonette Johnson, 20, said.
She said she always would love her brother, Justin Antwon Johnson, 22, who faced a life sentence for stabbing Willis Warfield, 62, to death in May 2011 as he played dominoes at a private club.
After deliberating for almost 2 1/2 hours, the jury returned a verdict for her brother: 33 years in prison, and Johnson would be eligible for parole after he served 16 1/2 years.
