Woman’s sentence probated in 2010 drunk driving accident
Nadia Luger, 34, of Atascocita pleaded guilty to intoxicated assault with a vehicle resulting in serious bodily injury, a third degree felony, in connection with a major accident that occurred in the 20200 block of W. Lake Houston Pkwy. on June 17, 2010.
Earlier this month, Luger received a 7-year probated prison sentence of 10 years. This means that if Luger should be convicted of any other criminal charges within that 7-year time period, she would face actual prison time. If, on the other hand, she completes the 7-year probationary period successfully, she will not serve time in prison.
According to the criminal complaint filed in the 337th District Court, Luger ran a red light and struck another vehicle, causing the other driver to sustain an open leg fracture and other injuries.
