This manual teaches officers how to write clean reports that include every essential element of the crime. The Guide includes both practical writing tips (written by a DA’s investigator) as well as checklists for reports in the following major crime groups: accident, auto theft, burglary and theft, homicide, juvenile, robbery, narcotics and vice divisions. Author Diane Wilson is an investigator in the Tom Green County (San Angelo) District Attorney’s Office and a longtime member of TDCAA’s Investigator Board.
