A young girl allegedly forced to perform at swinger parties revealed
being embarrassed to "dance sexy" in front of boys, her former foster
mother said Wednesday.
It was among the final testimony in the trial of Patrick
"Booger Red" Kelly, an alleged member of the so-called Mineola
Swinger's Club where prosecutors say children as young as 5 were
sexually exploited.
Closing arguments were expected to begin Thursday, with Kelly's
attorneys likely hoping that deliberations last longer than in the
trials of two others linked to the small-town East Texas club.
Both were convicted in less than five minutes, then sentenced
to life in prison. Kelly, who is charged with engaging in organized
criminal activity, also faces a possible life sentence if convicted.
Kelly, 41, has testified he is innocent.
