SAN ANTONIO -- A school bus driver found not guilty of drunk driving. Northside officials fired that driver last may after the News 4 Trouble Shooters uncovered the arrest.

Maria Garza Wise was not talking when the we caught up to her in court last May.

"Can you tell us why you're still a bus driver?" asked a News 4 producer.

The Northside Independant School District bus driver never told her bosses she was arrested for D.W.I. back in 2003.

A jury recently found her not guilty after County Court at Law #6 Judge Ray Olivarri did not allow the District Attorney to present evidence from a breath test. According to the D.A.'s office it showed Wise blew a blood alcohol level of .13., well over the legal limit of .08.

"Without that evidence you can understand why a jury would find someone not guilty, which they did in this case because the breath test evidence is critical in a case," said Assistant District Attorney Cliff Herberg.
