GRAHAM -- In the dog mauling trial of a Breckenridge couple, a witness testified Wednesday that one of the pit bulls involved had killed another dog.

Crystal Watson and Jack Smith are on trial in 90th District Court on charges of attack by dog resulting in death, a second-degree felony.

The body of Tanner Monk, 7, was found May 18 on the side of a road near his home at Hubbard Creek Reservoir.

Watson's aunt Edith Elaine Kleiner testified she once owned one of the four dogs believed to have been involved in the attack. She said the dog, a pit bull she called Son, killed a neighbor's dog while she owned him.
