ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY – 47th DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE – AMARILLO, TEXAS
 
Duties may include:    

1. Prosecution of felony criminal cases (from crime scene through appeal)
2. Asset forfeitures
3. Grand jury presentations
4. Intake and screening of cases
5. Training of law enforcement officers
6. Interaction with witnesses, victims, citizens’ groups and private individuals.
 
Job Requirements:     

1. Licensed to practice law in Texas.
2. Pass criminal background check.
3. Criminal trial experience
4. Good standing with the State Bar of Texas
5. Knowledge of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Trial Practice in Texas
6. Ability to work in an office environment and interact effectively with others.
 
Salary: $60,000  - additional depending on experience
