Hector Esteban Martinez, 45, of Houston, was found guilty of repeatedly raping his daughter during a one-week stay at a motel in Stafford before the victim escaped.
The accused repeatedly forced his 18-year-old daughter to have sex with him, repeatedly sodomized her, made threats and hit her to force her to comply with his demands, according to Chad Bridges, assistant district attorney and chief of the family violence division of the district attorney's office.
Martinez faces from five to 99 years or life in prison, and because of his past criminal history, could face a minimum of 15 years in prison. He will be sentenced on Sept. 24 and is not eligible for probation, according to Bridges.
