HOUSTON – A man who has been in prison for 27 years is expected to be released Thursday after an investigation revealed he did not commit the crime, the Harris County District Attorney's Office announced.
DNA tests and an intense investigation by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office found 44-year-old Michael Green was not a part of the 1983 aggravated assault crime for which he was convicted.

The men drove her to a remote location, where three of them sexually assaulted her, threw her out of the car and drove away. A fourth man in the car refused to take part in the assault.
