Human trafficking survey now available online

July 29, 2010

In 2009, the Legislature created the statewide Human Trafficking Prevention Task Force and required the task force to collect data on human trafficking investigations and prosecutions across the state.  Because there is no statewide human trafficking data clearinghouse, the task force is seeking help from each county attorney's and district attorney's office to comply with its statutory mandate.

TDCAA has worked with the task force to set up a short survey that every office can access online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/human_trafficking.  The survey is password-protected; you can contact Shannon Edmonds at TDCAA for that password.

Each office should complete the survey by August 20, 2010, so the task force can include the results in its report to the Legislature in a timely fashion.  Please only submit one response per office.

Thanks!
