DENTON -- In her diary, 16-year-old Brittany Munoz wrote that she was worried about her unborn child and was fed up with her 20-year-old boyfriend, Garrett Cole Gower.

Gower didn't want to tell his mother about the baby because he was afraid he would be kicked out of the house, Munoz wrote.

Calvert said that on the morning of Nov. 10, Munoz sent a text message to Gower that she was going to tell his mother.

Hours later, Munoz's sister found her dead at the family's Flower Mound apartment.
