D.A.'s creative solution to help pay for murder investigations

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The Smith County D.A.'s Office has found a creative way to help the City of Tyler pay the high cost of investigating murder cases. Basically, have other criminals pay for it.
Thursday, District Attorney Matt Bingham handed over this check for $6,051.91.
The money came from forfeitures, money and items taken from criminals.
