Our contacts at DPS have notified us that their new target date for prosecutor-specific CHLs is now Sept. 1, 2008. DPS's vendor must first complete the agency's driver license reengineering project, which has hit another snag.

As mentioned before on this site, once the new CHLs are available, you can visit ftp://ftp.txdps.state.tx.us/forms/cr-70.pdf [1] and download a Request for a Duplicate License (CR-70), then complete the form and submit it to the address provided with the appropriate fee amount (if any).
