CORPUS CHRISTI — A man has been found guilty of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison for burning a woman alive last year.

After the jury announced a verdict Friday, a judge sentenced Kenneth Keene, 55, to life in prison. The prosecution didn't seek the death penalty.

The body of 45-year-old Lucia Gonzalez was found March 2, 2007, at a homeless campsite near the Corpus Christi Ship Channel.
