The retrial of a Brenham man convicted in 1994 of helping murder six Somerville residents will begin July 7 in Giddings — barring any additional delays.

District Judge Reva Towslee Corbett has also appointed two additional attorneys to the defense team of Anthony Graves.

Corbett earlier this year agreed to move Graves’ trial to Giddings in neighboring Lee County after a change of venue request filed by his attorneys was granted.
