New CPS Policy on Investigations

This past summer, the 5th Circuit handed down a ruling in Gates v. TDPRS, et al. [1] that will affect the investigation of CPS cases.  In response, the Department has issued an advisory memorandum to its employees to help them comply with the ruling.  A copy of that memo is available below.
