Asst Criminal DA/Misdemeanor Prosecutor
The Jasper County CDA’s Office is seeking candidates for an Asst Criminal DA position. There are three attorneys in this office (including this position) with a very active caseload.
The Asst Criminal DA will assist the Criminal DA in carrying out his responsibilities including handling:
·all misdemeanor cases in county court, from intake to appeal
·all misdemeanor cases in justice courts, from pretrial to appeal
·all Child Protective Services cases
The Bell County District Attorney’s office has an immediate opening for an experienced felony prosecutor. Three to five years felony courtroom experience as a prosecutor or in private practice preferred, with an emphasis on criminal trial expertise. Applicant must be licensed by the State of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
Minimum starting salary of 77,616.00, negotiable based upon experience. This position will remain open until filled. Personal interviews will be conducted by invitation only.
