Bastrop County District Attorney's Office is currently seeking to fill a full-time Assistant Criminal District Attorney position.  We are looking for an attorney with experience in criminal prosecution and/or criminal defense work.

The District Attorney’s Office, Del Rio, Val Verde County, Texas has an opening for a First Assistant District Attorney.  Depending upon level of experience, the position will include all aspects of the prosecution of felony offenses including intake, preparation of cases for presentation to Grand Jury, juvenile matters, advise law enforcement officials on searches and seizures, trials and appeals.

POSITION TITLE:   Asst Criminal District Attorney (Misdemeanor)

JOB SUMMARY:      This position requires a thorough knowledge of law enforcement procedures. The individual has the responsibility for the supervision of no employees. Individual has daily contact with the public and is responsible for assisting the Criminal District Attorney with trying cases and handling legal matters.

SALARY $40,000.00 - $50,000.00
 
FELONY TRIAL ATTORNEY
DUTIES INCLUDE:
RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARATION OF CASES TO GRAND JURY, PRE-TRIAL
MOTIONS, JURY SELECTION AND TRIAL OF CRIMINAL CASES. PROVID ADVICE AND SUPPORT TO POLICE DEPARTMENTS. REPRESENT POLICE DEPARTMENTS IN CIVIL FORFIETURE CASES.

The 112^th District Attorney’s Office has an opening for an Assistant District Attorney.  The 112^th Judicial District covers five counties in West Texas - Crockett, Pecos, Reagan, Sutton and Upton.

The position will include all aspects involved in the prosecution of felony cases including intake, preparation of cases for presentation to Grand Jury, pre-trial, jury and bench trials and appeals.  Travel will be required.  Successful candidate will be required to live and work in Fort Stockton.
