The Brazos County Attorney’s Office has an immediate opening for an Assistant County Attorney to prosecute misdemeanor criminal cases. A license to practice law in Texas, or recent graduate awaiting bar results with commensurate experience in criminal justice, is required. A criminal law and/or criminal justice background is preferred.

The 69th District Attorney’s Office is currently seeking a second assistant district attorney. The 69th Judicial District comprises Dallam, Hartley, Moore, and Sherman counties of the northwest Texas panhandle. The District Attorney’s Office is located in Dumas, Moore County, Texas 46 miles north of Amarillo, Texas. This is a trial attorney position and the applicant should be a self-starter, able to handle the stress of trial work and be able to work well with others.
The Cameron County District Attorney’s Office is seeking an entry level misdemeanor prosecutor. Under the direction from the elected District Attorney, this position represents the State in all matters handled by the District Attorney’s Office, including but not limited to all aspects of prosecution from magistration to trials. Collateral duties include, but are not limited to, serving as a liaison to a local law enforcement agency and assisting with protective order applications. An applicant must be dedicated to public service. Must be able to pass a background check.
