What laws were passed during the 85th Regular Session? What laws didn’t pass? And what does it all mean for how you investigate and prosecute crimes? Find out answers to these questions and many more as we travel to 20 Texas cities this summer with our Legislative Update. All attendees will receive a copy of the 2017–19 Legislative Update book with a Penal Code table of offenses.
Each legislative update session is from 1:30 to 5 p.m. and is worth 3 hours of 3185 TCOLE and CLE credit. The cost is $100 for TDCAA members who pre-register online (up until a week before the training) and $125 for all others, including members who register on-site.
Pre-registration for the 2017 Legislative Updates is online only. Some locations are subject to maximum capacities, and online registration will be closed after pre-registration meets the maximum number of seats. Walk-ins at those locations may not be accepted, so don’t delay in signing up. A working email address is mandatory for confirmation of your registration and as a means of contacting you.
