Position: Dallas County Assistant District Attorney – Civil (Grade VI)
Duties: Advising the County and its departments on a variety of civil legal issues; representing the County in state civil litigation matters and civil service grievance proceedings; supervising other litigation attorneys; preparing and reviewing contracts on behalf of the County and its departments.
Qualifications: Graduation from accredited law school; current license to practice law in the State of Texas; member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas; 4 years of experience practicing law; and must pass background check.
Preferences: Prefer 5 or more years of civil law litigation experience; experience with a governmental entity or private firm with an emphasis on representing municipalities or counties is preferred; strong background in employment issues and litigation.
Annual Salary Range: $115,509.51 – $144,342.56 (commensurate with qualifications and experience) plus benefits.
