The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office is seeking a part-time prosecutor to appear at a morning magistrate court.
Applicants should be licensed attorneys in good standing. One year of job-related experience is required, with prior criminal law experience preferred.
Attorneys will be expected to appear before 8 a.m. at a daily morning magistrate docket to argue for bond conditions and make recommendations for release on bond. Work in the Intake Division is secondary to the magistrate docket and will be used to backfill available hours. The two positions will alternate days covering the docket 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Pays $31.65 per hour and without a benefits package. Hours are capped at 29 hours per week. Offers subject to application/interview process, background check and drug test.
