Angelina County is searching for a qualified individual to fill an open ANGELINA COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY INVESTIGATOR position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
TCOLE Certification. Experience and certification in TCIC/NCIC access preferred. Prior experience in law enforcement preferred;
Ability to learn and utilize computerized case management system;
Written and verbal communication skills;
Professional demeanor and appearance;
Pleasant attitude in dealing with co-workers, victims, witnesses, and public;
Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure;
Motivated and reliable; and
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
DUTIES:
Duties include working with several attorneys and other staff handling felony criminal cases and related matters. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys in preparation of/and during trial; locating victims, witnesses and parents in a wide variety of cases; serving subpoenas; running criminal histories and performing other tasks as requested or required.
STARTING SALARY:
$49,286 annually, with additional certificate pay up to $2700 yearly for a master peace officer certification. Additional supplemental pay possible depending upon experience.
