Trial Investigator

We are looking to continue the good work of the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office with professional, ethical, and experienced felony investigators.  We want to attract the finest talent from around the State to work in the greatest County in Texas.  We are in Central Texas and our major cities include Georgetown, Round Rock, and Northern Austin.

We are looking to fill the position of Felony Trial Investigator.  Minimum qualifications are ten (10) years of experience as a Texas Police Officer and five (5) years of experience in criminal investigation.  Preferred qualifications include prior experience as a District Attorney Investigator, Spanish speaker, and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or similar field.  Salary is based on a Law Enforcement Pay Chart with a starting salary of $88,547.00.

This investigator will be responsible for providing professional investigative assistance to the Assistant District Attorneys of Williamson County in preparation of trial presentation material, the work-up of punishment evidence, subpoena service / witness logistics, and, providing security of the office, prosecution team, and trial witnesses as appropriate.
