Assistant District Attorney - Misdemeanor

The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office is seeking two intelligent and personable lawyers with a minimum 1 year job related experience, to join our Misdemeanor Division.  Trial work and being responsible for approximately half of a County Court-at-Law docket are the primary duties of this position.  You will be expected to try between seven and fourteen contested cases per year while managing a large caseload.  The work environment and co-workers are pleasant, the office is well funded, and the support staff is quite skilled.  You must be currently licensed to practice law in Texas to be considered for these positions.

We offer a fine benefit package and a starting salary range of $2,457 biweekly or more, dependent upon experience.  The positions are expected to be filled shortly after October 1, 2017.
