The Investigator section of TDCAA offers two $1,000 scholarships each year to dependents of TDCAA members. The first is awarded at the February Investigator Conference and is open only to dependents of members of the Investigator Section. The second is awarded at the Annual Conference in September. This scholarship is open to all dependents of TDCAA members.
The eligibility requirements are simple: Students must be under legal guardianship of a current TDCAA member, less that 25 years of age, and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States as of the application deadline. The student also must have a cumulative high school or college grade point average of at least 3.0 or equivalent. The student must also write an essay of no more than two pages in response to an essay prompt.
The scholarship committee selects a recipient about a month before each conference, and each are encouraged to appear or make a video to be presented at each conference; however, it is not a prerequisite. The scholarship application is posted below, or you may contact any TDCAA Investigator Section Board member, and we will be happy to provide an application.
