CCP Changes for 1/1/21
As part of its code reorganization efforts, the Texas Legislature passed a bill in 2019 (HB 4173) that makes changes to several chapters in the Code of Criminal Procedure, effective Jan. 1, 2021. These changes affect protective orders, grand jury, and victims’ rights provisions. The new chapters, which also include source and disposition charts, are available as PDFs to download for free below.
