The Texas District and County Attorneys Association, with the support of the Texas District and County Attorneys Foundation, is proud to offer FREE regional training to Texas prosecutor offices in the coastal areas deeply impacted by Hurricane Harvey. With local budgets strained by the storm, TDCAA is stepping in to make sure all prosecutors get the MCLE and TCOLE hours they need this year—15 hours including 3 hours of ethics—at no cost.
The regional training will take place over three days (June 6, 7, and 8) in three cities (Beaumont, Victoria, and Houston). It will, feature nationally recognized speakers on the visual trial, cross examination, and implicit bias, as well as updates on Supreme Court and Court of Criminal Appeals caselaw, forensic science, Brady, and ethics.
Registration is free to all prosecutor staff in the counties listed below. We require a minimum number of registrants at each location, so register online at www.tdcaa.com/training today!
Counties included for this are: Angelina, Aransas, Austin, Bee, Brazoria, Calhoun, Chambers, Colorado, Dewitt, Fayette, Fort Bend, Galveston, Goliad, Hardin, Harris, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Lavaca, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Newton, Nueces, Orange, Polk, Refugio, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, San Patricio, Trinity, Tyler, Victoria, Walker, Waller and Wharton.
