The Washington County District Attorney’s Office located in Brenham, Texas is seeking a full time Assistant District Attorney (Felony Prosecutor). Brenham is located in the Brazos Valley.
The job description includes prosecuting felonies from intake through trial, advising law enforcement in criminal matters and limited civil work is possible. (Bond Forfeitures, Asset Forfeitures, Expunctions) Experience in the Courtroom and prosecution is preferred. This position is a available on March 4.
Applicants must be licensed by the State Bar of Texas and have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited Law School. Must have a professional attitude, a team player, be an effective communicator, a multi-tasker and be a self-starter.
Salary will be based on experience and benefits include health insurance, retirement, paid State Bar Dues and CLE, and paid vacation after one year. Vacancy will be opened until filled.
