Assistant District Attorney – Misdemeanor/Felony
This position consists of prosecution of juvenile and adult criminal cases, appellate cases, and CPS cases. Prosecutors are expected to investigate and evaluate facts involving criminal matters, make appropriate charging decisions, make plea offers, and try cases to juries.
The Limestone County District Attorney’s Office is a rural office of four lawyers. Limestone County’s criminal trial dockets are diverse, and prosecutors gain extensive courtroom experience in a wide variety of cases.
The District Attorney and the office’s staff are all experienced trial lawyers who emphasize training, teamwork, trial skills, and are building a relationship with the Baylor Law School through our internship program to train future prosecutors.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience
A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and Licensed with the Texas State Bar.

Groesbeck is the county seat of Limestone County and is located approximately 40 minutes east of Waco. Limestone County is located approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours from Dallas, Houston and Austin.
