The San Patricio County District Attorney’s Office is seeking to hire an experienced Assistant District Attorney.
Starting salary is between $100,000 and $135,000 depending on experience. We are seeking a self-motivated and hardworking attorney with at least 5 years of felony trial experience, preferably in prosecuting serious violent crimes and sex offenses.
Our office only handles adult felony offenders. Our staff is currently comprised of 3 ADAs and 1 appellate attorney. San Patricio County is a mid-sized county, experiencing rapid growth. As such, we have a busy, fast-moving docket.
This position will be responsible for prosecuting serious felonies and sex offenses. Essential functions, aside from the preparation of cases for trial, include interacting with victims and their families, and the ability to handle the expectations of veteran judges. Our office intakes from multiple law enforcement agencies so the ability to work with law enforcement personnel is necessary.
