POSITION TITLE: Attorney II, Commissioners Court
SALARY RANGE: $110,807.55 – $125,000.00 annually (Pay Group E13)

Position Overview: This position performs a variety of complex, high-level administrative, technical, and professional work in prosecuting/conducting civil lawsuits, drawing up legal documents, advising county officials as to legal rights, obligations, practices other phases of applicable local, state, and Federal law.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of law enforcement procedures and court operations
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid Texas driver’s license required for operating county vehicles
