Felony intake position up to $85,650, depending on experience
Prepare cases for Grand Jury – write case summaries and draft Indictments;
– Work with District Attorney and other intake attorneys to determine which cases should be presented, rejected, or disposed of in other ways;
– Pre-Indictment plea negotiations and hearings;
– Answer law enforcement questions pertaining to how to file criminal charges on individual cases;
– Handle various pre-Indictment matters, such as requests for attorneys, bond hearings, requests for Examining Trials, etc.;
– Investigate cases and speak with witnesses/victims;
– Present cases to the Grand Jury;
– Review/help draft search and arrest warrants.
