The Bell County District Attorney’s Office has an opening for an experienced felony prosecutor. In the last year we have had a few long-time attorneys take their planned retirements. We are looking for a prosecutor who enjoys working with a team of experienced prosecutors and enjoys the freedom to make decisions in the handling of their case load. Our office provides the resources for you to succeed, as well as presenting cases that are varied and challenging. We prefer a prosecutor with a minimum of five years felony courtroom experience or extensive trial experience as a misdemeanor prosecutor. Like all offices, you need to be licensed by the State of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
If you are looking for a change and want to work in an environment that is both challenging and permits working with fellow experienced prosecutors check us out and send me your resume.
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, these are difficult times and person to person meetings should be avoided. To accommodate this, we will be conducting teleconference interviews. Except for 3 legal assistants everyone in my office has the resources to work remotely.

And of course, there are benefits which include health insurance, state bar dues, TDCAA and NDAA professional dues, and continuing legal education cost. We will wait to hear from you and send an invitation to meet if you are selected.
