In the March-April issue of this journal, Dallas County Investigator Brent Robbins wrote about a heart-wrenching case where Marilyn Gates was killed by an intoxicated driver. Mr. Robbins will present a check to the Marilyn Gates Memorial Fund Scholarship when he travels to New Hampshire (where the Gates family lives) in June. The scholarship has previously been limited to $500; the hope is to at least double that amount.
