Deaths
On April 1, 2025, our Colorado County Attorney family took a gut-punch. Anela Barrett, our discovery clerk/legal assistant, unexpectedly passed away. She brought an energy and enthusiasm to the office that was infectious and made those around her better. Her sudden passing left her family unprepared for the unexpected financial burden of a funeral. Her family has set up a GoFundMe to help offset the expenses. Awards
Rob Kepple, recently retired TDCAA Executive Director (now the executive director of the Texas District & County Attorneys Foundation) was honored with resolutions on both the House and Senate floors. Senator Chuy Hinojosa and Representative Joe Moody honored Rob for his 22 years of service as the executive director and more than 30 years at TDCAA.
