Judges needed for mock trial tournament March 10-12

Greetings from UTA Pre-Law!

The University of Texas at Arlington will host the Opening Round Championship Series tournament of the American Mock Trial Association. We are so excited to bring this event to the state of Texas for the first time in its history and we want to ensure an incredible experience for all participants.

This year’s competition will be taking place at the Tim Curry Criminal Justice Center in downtown Fort Worth on March 10–12, 2023.  Top student competitors will be coming from colleges and universities all around the country to compete in this event. All competitive teams are vying for a bid to the National tournament in Memphis. And none of this will be possible without your help as judges!!

If you have the availability, we need you and would absolutely love it if you could come support this amazing advancement by judging.

Rounds will take place at the Tim Curry Criminal Justice Center located at 401 W Belknap St, Fort Worth, TX 76196.  The competition schedule will be as follows:

ROUND 1:  6:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Friday, March 10, 2023

ROUND 2:  9:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023

ROUND 3:  2:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023

ROUND 4:  9:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Sunday, March 12, 2023
