The Annual Business Meeting of the Texas District and County Attorneys Association will take place on December 3, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk, 123 Losoya Street, San Antonio, TX 78205.
At the meeting, TDCAA members who are present and eligible to vote may participate in the following decisions:
1. Statewide Officer Elections
TDCAA’s Nominations Committee has recommended the following candidates for four statewide positions:
President-Elect: Philip Mack Furlow, 106th Judicial DA
Secretary-Treasurer: Jacob Putman, Smith County Criminal DA
District Attorney at Large: Audrey Louis, 81st Judicial DA
Assistant Prosecutor at Large: Carlos “Charlie” Madrid, El Paso County Asst. CA
Nominations may also be made from the floor prior to any discussion and voting.
2. Honorary Life Memberships
TDCAA’s Board of Directors has nominated the following people for honorary life membership in the Association:
David Escamilla, former Travis County CA
Jaime Esparza, former 34th Judicial DA
Jack Roady, former Galveston County Criminal DA
3. Regional Directors
Regional caucuses will meet to elect directors for Regions 3, 5, 6, and 8 (see regional map for locations).
