TDCAA Key Personnel-Victim Services Board Appointment Opportunity

TDCAA’s Key Personnel-Victim Services Board assists in preparing and developing operational procedures, standards, training, and educational programs. Area representatives serve as a point of contact for their regions.  

To serve on the TDCAA Key Personnel-Victim Services Board is an election process and an appointment process.  One KP and one VAC are appointed each January by our board chairs.  Regional elections are held at our TDCAA Key Personnel-Victim Assistance Coordinator conference each November. 

If you are interested in an at-large appointment to the TDCAA Key Personnel-Victim Services Board, please send an email to [email protected] by Monday, January 9th @ 5:00 pm, including a paragraph or so introducing yourself, your position, what office you work in, and a little about why you would like to serve on the TDCAA Key Personnel-Victim Services board.  This information will then be forwarded to the chairpersons sometime in January/February 2023 for board consideration. 

The TDCAA Key Personnel-Victim Services Board has 2 meetings a year.  One in the spring at TDCAA’s office in Austin and one in the fall at our Key Personnel-Victim Assistance Coordinator Conference.  If you decide to try for an appointment, you will need permission from your elected to serve on the board, be approved to travel and attend our meeting in the spring in Austin and to attend the TDCAA Key Personnel-Victim Assistance Conference in November of 2023 & 2024.  Some reimbursements will be distributed for the travel.
