TMCEC’s 2022 Prosecutors Seminar will be held June 20-22, 2022 in Houston at the Omni Houston Hotel (Galleria). It might be helpful for those who practice in JP court.
Agenda & Courses
The agenda is designed to address a broad range of issues which are applicable to prosecutors in courts of all sizes. This year we will be addressing statutory changes from the recent legislative session. Topics also include practical courses in managing COVID-19 backlogs and trial skills.
Registration
Registration is $100. There is a $50 fee per night for a private, single occupancy room. This seminar has been submitted for approval for up to 14.0 hours of MCLE credit – including up to 2.0 hours of ethics from the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (credit towards the continuing legal education requirements for certification and recertification in Criminal Law). The Texas Municipal Courts Association (TMCA) Board of Directors adopted a $100 CLE fee. The fee is voluntary, is deposited in the TMCA private fund account, and is used for expenditures designed to benefit municipal courts but not allowed by the Court of Criminal Appeals.
