Join us in Austin for a standalone Prosecutor Management Institute: Fundamentals of Management Course II. If this course is filled, there is another course taking place at the same time and the same location. Please visit the TDCAA calendar to check availability under the other course. Built by prosecutors and with the assistance of professional consultants, this training provides current and prospective supervisors with the tools they need to effectively and ethically manage within an elected prosecutor’s office. Using state-of-the-art assessment tools and materials, attendees will:
• gain insight into their own behavioral inclinations and recognize those inclinations in others
• develop skills designed to harness the natural talents of their team
• examine and understand the value of employing alternative conflict-resolution styles
• identify the core competencies necessary to effectively manage themselves, their team, and the organization
• learn and practice methods to effectively reinforce, correct, and improve their team’s conduct
This course will take place on June 3 (9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.) , June 4 (9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.), and June 5 (9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.). Registration is limited to 24 attendees. Should additional spots become available, we will reopen registration on this page. Enrolled attendees will receive an email with links to two online assessments prior to the course date. When registering, please verify your contact information. Follow the instructions at the top of that page to make any corrections. The assessments must be completed prior to the course, but they will not take more than a few quiet minutes. Due to the course’s content density, attendees must plan to be present for the entire program.
The cost of this program is $500.00 per attendee, and is open only to elected Texas prosecutors, their assistants, and their staff. Should this course reach its capacity, the Submit button to complete your registration will become inactive.
